Oak Grove Alpacas was established in 1999 after two years of investigating the Alpaca Industry. Our ranch started with two alpacas. We wanted to be sure that alpacas were right for us before we got too involved. After our initial purchase we loved alpacas even more. Our herd has grown more than we would have ever imagined. (Caution - alpacas can be very addicting!)

Although our herd has grown, we are committed to keeping our herd size small. We pride ourselves in providing the best care to all of the animals residing at our ranch. At Oak Grove Alpacas all of our animals have the luxury of one on one daily attention.

We are presently in the process of creating our own special line of alpaca products. All of the steps involved in creating a special alpaca item: fleece processing, spinning and creation of the final product will be done at our ranch or by talented local fiber artists.
